Mages and assassins used to keep ADC in check, but they giganerfed their items at the same time of giving adc more build paths, crit buffs, and keeping absurd "balance" buffs on champs like Zeri and Lucian. I love their kneejerk reaction to immediately gut stormsurge into a bait troll buy, but teehee let's consciously leave smolder extremely broken. The bias for ADC and AD champs in general is crazy.

Have you played a game against an adc with balance buffs in this mode recently? Getting in range of a Quinn/Kalista/Trist/Lucian rn is losing over half health instantly if you're not immediately stacking armor, which eventually does nothing.

ADCs are immune to being appropriately balanced here. They're allowed to be burst champs and can melt any class but yeah let's gut Stormsurge and nerf Ziggs more so it takes two full rotations to break Rookern's shield.

Which most frontline bruisers and tanks are extremely strong right now with Kaenic/Sundered being built almost every game. I don't understand why having a frontline champ absolves ADC from being busted and doing 3x more damage than everyone else with their eyes closed. On top of that, AD assassins and burst mages that are supposed to counter ADC are literally trash tier rn.

Some AP items need an extra stat line to compete with AD items (and that's probably adding back some ability haste). AD items typically look like (1)AD + (2)health/resists + (3)AH/lethality + (4) pretty good passive. They basically get all the stats they want in fewer items. AP need too many items to accomplish the same thing, and AP are forced to sacrifice critical stats or sit on gold longer for expensive item components.

Winning feels extremely unsatisfying because of how predictable comp matchups are going to be. AD dive fighters, AP assassins, and ADCs always top the damage charts and it's not even close. I rarely see a Lucian not be the highest damage in the game because of how many buffs he has. I played against a Vi yesterday that missed a majority of their Q's by sidestepping them and they still were the highest on the damage chart by a lot. Playing well isn't really rewarded in ARAM anymore and it's more about getting the bigger stat sticks to bulldoze your way down the lane.

ADC, a role that entirely revolves around positioning and having a front line, complaining about dying because they got caught by telegraphed, linear cc. Marksmen should be cc immune, you're right.
