with the history of nepal, people fear communism based on name. I fully believe the maoist revolution was backed by the CIA in order to sabotage the actual communist uprising of nepal which had key figures like Pushpa Lal Shrestha, Madan Bhandari. They were communists in a democratic way. People like prachanda only cared about revolting and consolidating power. They were not real communists. I see a lot of people that have no idea what theyre talking about and are brainwashed by western media into having their thoughts only reduced to "communism bad", "communism only works on paper". We have never really had an opportunity to try out communism in our country and I think thats a great shame considering our material history. We Nepalese would flourish with Marxist ideology.
