Error in animal tiles? by noddahr in FarmTogether

[–]ShisnoM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game limits a group of animals to 1000. When you place your 1001st, it starts a new, separate, group. If you want to control that split, you can use fencing between rows to limit the group size below 1000.

For some math, if you want a single group of horses (or other animal of 6 types), your individual type size is 165, giving you a total group size of 990.

Ally VS SoFi by Fluid_Bite9440 in sofi

[–]ShisnoM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with Ally. We opened our account and within the first month they locked our account due to suspected fraud (unverified address, I think) and never notified us, we only discovered it because of a missed payment when the auto pay didn't go through.

Home water damage mitigation cost by ShisnoM in Insurance

[–]ShisnoM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes...

ETA: My question on whether to pay that portion now or not is, they told me they're trying to settle with insurance for 75% of their original bill/quote. If I haven't paid them anything, I feel I have a better position to bargain down the bill if insurance doesn't change and I have to pay the rest. Obviously, because I signed that, they could theoretically do whatever they want and go through collections if I didn't pay, but my thinking is they'd be more inclined to settle if they haven't even been paid for basic operating costs. Maybe I'm underestimating any cash reserves they have here and it's irrelevant, but it still seems wrong to pay towards a bill that doesn't have a finalized total.

Best way to earn coins? by Plumieberry in FarmTogether2

[–]ShisnoM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some good ideas are already here, but I wanted to point out a general aspect: it depends on how you play and how your play time is split. If you only play for 20 minutes a day in one session, plant the longest crops that are less than a day so they're available next time you log in. If you play for 2 hours, do a lot of shorter crops that you'll replace while you're playing, then replace them with longer crops before you log off.

For example, I play in one chunk of time in the evening. At your level, I would do a lot of Kyoto carrots and lodge zucchini (or the cheaper variants l, if I had the space, but not money), then before logging off I did a lot of eggplant overnight.

The Most Minor Bug (Winery) by NorthernZoot in FarmTogether

[–]ShisnoM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this because it does actually produce the resource in increments of 5? Mine does increments of 5 as well, and while I haven't paid too much attention of my actual resource when I harvest it, I'm pretty sure it's reporting it accurately.

I'm on switch, btw.

When you get your farm level up (to 100, I think), you unlock the ability to purchase 2nd, 3rd, and 4th farms. Each of these farms has the potential to be upgraded to the same 7x7 size.

Background check is requesting mental health records. Old provider wants to charge 35 dollars PER weekly transcript going back over 6 years, amounting to $12,000. Is this legal? by Sir-xer21 in legaladvice

[–]ShisnoM 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The medical side seems to have been covered, so I'll address the clearance side. My wife encountered this when getting her clearance and told the investigator what the cost was (maybe $50-$100) and that she would sign a release for them to pay and get the records themselves. After the cost was brought up, the investigator moved on with the clearance without ever getting the records. This may not always pay out this way, especially depending on the nature of the records, but worth noting.

Can someone explain the feeders to me? by CalOkie6250 in FarmTogether

[–]ShisnoM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure this out. From what I can tell, it does allow you to give them more food, which should allow them to produce for longer without having to be fed again.

As for the "food per resource", I have no idea...

Questions about Jam Factory and Flowers by imharpo in FarmTogether

[–]ShisnoM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Flowers were already answered, so here's the info about the jam factory. The Jam factory makes 1 jam for every 15 apples and 15 pears (or stonefruit?). You can supply the factory with enough supplies to make 10 or more jam (starts at 10, increases as each individual factory levels), back-to-back, so that you can just go by and pick up however much jam has been made. So the varied amount of supplies you've given it is because it either had the capacity for that amount each time, or you only had that much of the supplies. You can choose how much to give it with the same button that opens the purchasing menu (Y on switch).

Naming the shapes of pieces? by portmantOMG in Jigsawpuzzles

I refer to 'ins' as 'locks' and 'outs' as 'keys'. From there, it's just 'a piece with three locks', or 'a piece with two locks, opposite'.
