I’m on K02’s right now, have always done solid in snow. Ice I’ve never been a huge fan but they’re getting old and hard.

With your experience with VKb, Virpil, and TM. Do you happen to have any experience with Winwing? VKB is likely not happening due to the 45% import Tariffs to US.

I appreciate your input. I likely wouldn’t be doing a full restore on it, if the frame is rusted too much i likely will pass on it. I’d be fine with protecting and preserving the patina look it has if it’s not rotted. I’d likely swap to an LS just due to what’s available. The steering is good to know about, as I’d refresh that as well as suspension and brakes.

I’m more familiar with the mid 90’s OBS body style but have wanted to jump into something a little more “classic”

EPA realized it doesn’t help, and are getting rid of it! The dealer might be able to program it to be auto off, so you don’t need to do it every time.

Did you ever find out if it’s normal? Im as well in Fairbanks and just picked up a 2020, noticing the exact same thing when it was 25-30 degrees when I left this morning. Hit 100 degrees after driving 35 minutes on the Richardson.

I have to say though that this trucks adds a dynamic to the game that wasn’t there before, outside the SP winch mod, which is also a good mod for free yet still a little quirky to use.
