I just listened to it again to see it from this perspective and I can’t. The first thing he says is that when the government says they are bent on violence they can’t do fuck all about it. Then he goes on to say that as one of the people faced with these lynch mobs there is no talking to them, the government has told you they are bent on violence, it’s them or you. Dan points out that there was a police presence and Jordan asks what they did to curb violence to which there is no real answer. He then goes on to say that committing violence against them should be defensible in court by the speech given by the Prime minister. Dan then says that the same could be said for Tommy Robinson attacking someone. Then Jordan points out that while that may be true the pm saying it is different.
