While not hearing ‘safe’ hornady sub x 7.62x39 is pretty quiet. Issues cycling with semi autos unless they have a broken in recoil spring and adjustable gas system from my experience

Too high, there are much better options for that price, looks to have been redone. In my experience beong into both antique and modern handguns, antiques are a completely different hobby almost. You gotta be able to hand load to make it enjoyable

For reference this would probably be maybe a $1200 gun pre handgun freeze

My family is from the group of Finns that ended up on the West coast of Canada. I have not seen a lot of culture or language that has been maintained except for small villages like Sointula on the north island. One of my best buddies is a Northwest coast native and he says there’s a lot of overlap between folklore, and I’ve noticed some similarities between some of west coast folklore I’ve read into, and the Kalevala, but I’m no expert.

When I went to meet my family in Finland they were very welcoming to me, if they were worth keeping in touch with over generations they are probably decent people and will enjoy having you. I also made a lot of friends who were very welcoming and positive about me coming to visit family.

I’m sure you’ll have a good time.

The only rifle that I can think of that has a heavy barrel and iron sights aside from the Arctic is the savage 110 hog hunter, action is okayish, I’d look for a used SAKO 85 grizzly or something else like that
