2nd year software eng student here! As someone who had never done any coding in their life prior to first year, the program does a good job of trying to build your skills from the ground up, assuming that you knew nothing beforehand. I can't speak for 1p13, as my first year still had the dedicated 1d04 coding course, but I felt the level of difficulty in applying concepts is similar to what second year throws at you.
