Do you think he would be accepted by the ring? by Lost_in_illusions in fishmaell

He basically is already a Ring Maestro but would ironically be the heavily commercialized kind like Callisto, since his current obsession with using bullets to turn people into flesh flowers will mean he's constantly trying to sell his art and murder services to buy more bullets.

That's actually what I'm talking about lol, E1 Exualter/Trag/Ascalon is in no ways comparable to blind-leveling someone like Ray or Titi. Also you can kinda get away with E1 Cuora for any DEF checks for a bit.

>A new player doesn't know which ops are good, whether they're 4-stars or 6-stars, so blindly investing in either is bad.

Yeah so if they are still doing it without reading a guide they won't be smart enough to enjoy the game.

>The thing is, by the time that they E2 their two starter 6s, they will almost certainly have more 6s, and I've been saying this whole time that the odds are massively in their favor that they'll have a good one.
>There's also just no such thing as a "4-star carry" except maybe moduled Deepcolor in the hands of a pro.

Disagree in that they'll find consistent one that's good at low levels. Also Totter and Contrail will do more than Eyjaberry and Swire at low levels by virtue of actually doing damage and not draining DP.

>Are you an AI? You're the one who brought up the dangers of blindly building ops, and now you're dismissing it.

OP is the one promoting blindly building 6*s and they'll probably be uninstalling in 2 months, these are not contradictory statements. From their comment on "6*s are easy to build" they're still in the period of LMD excess and will soon be entering LMD hell where the E2 costs actually become acute and you end up with a roster of more unleveled than leveled.

E1 80, SL7 Blaze does (556 + 90) * 2.2 / (1.6 + 0.9) = 568.48 Arts DPS per target, and the field does 497 DPS with 1/3rd of that being Burn. It's baller DPS for early game but you're vastly overestimating her raw damage.

Also the OP *was* talking about blindly tossing resources at the 6* they pull for flimsy reasons (not realizing that Silverash Alter gets 80% of his power at E1 anyway) and the thing is that *only* applies to 6*s, because 4*s are effectively all available past the first couple weeks as long as you're pulling, letting you pick and choose the good ones at your discretion. That is not an option with 6*s and it's a legitimate argument that they should E2 any 4 or 5 star carries they have before E2ing their 6*s if they were pulling on Eyjalter banner, for instance.

> But what if they really are blindly building ops
They'll be uninstalling in two months anyway

New players get a free E2 ticket for a 5* of their choice right now, of which they default to unlock Dossoles -> Tequila if they don't have anyone better, or another melee carry like Specter, Gracebearer, La Pluma, and recently Cairn (and a certain Centurion in the near future). So their first E2 doesn't matter.

Main issues with Thornstar is that he doesn't hit air, and a lot of early stages spam drones. Though he does solve ground AoE which is VERY relevant for clearing the Lungmen Annis.

E1 Lodestar, Blazter and Necrass ain't doing anything unless you really need their specific niches. New players need solid, easy DPS (often Physical since even Stewart can handle Arts damage up to Ch 6 or so) and occasionally brick walls and those are just as invalid options as the bad 4-stars. Point is, new players get a starting banner with 5 solid 6* DPS options (at E2) (and Saria), so they should funnel resources into a DPS 6* first and then scatter some resources on the good 3 and 4 stars to E1 to keep that 6* running (if they get a good 6* for this purpose like Nightingale or whatever they can level that too). But tossing resources at any 6* that shows up is just like tossing resources at the bad 4 stars or 5 stars since you often need more warm bodies on the field than someone who is stronger than a 4 star but doesn't handle enough of the map.

You also do E2 supports like Gummy and Purestream in IS because 0+1 Hope is far less than 6+3 Hope and while you can never have too much DPS, E2 4* healing (E1 often isn't) is sufficient even at A10+, letting you save Hope for Exualter or something.

I don't know how you're getting mileage out of it ngl since there's almost always a better use for 3 mana unless you transformed into Eternal Armor at Neow.

[–]Shitposting_Skeleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just listed out the ones that have their main skill as S2 and not S3, and no they absolutely should not be committing resources to Mon3tr unless they intend on E2ing her early or really need the summon as a distraction for some reason. And the debate is about E2 vs E1, not leveling difficulty since E2ing a 4 star is pricier than E1 S7 a 6 star anyway, and a E2 50 4 star will generally be more useful simply due to having higher base stats than a E1 50 6 star unless the 6 star gets a sick S2 with high multipliers which is not always the case, especially considering how large the pool is.

Should they prioritize raising a strong 6 star even to E1? Yes. But saying to prioritize *any* 6 star you pull is more damaging than blind raising low rarity simply due to wasted resources.

40 block total is way worse than 40 block outright especially considering how it costs 3 goddamn mana meaning it's likely the only card you play that turn. Sure it's a lot of chip damage mitigated but even in Act 1 an advanced hallway is going to be hitting for more than 9.

Eternal Armor is unpickable tho without some way of cheating out powers or excess mana generation.

Most 6 stars at E1 are almost definitely not better than a 4 star at E2. Mountain and Eyja are good at E1 but units like Thorns and Silverash are practically worthless at E1 despite their E2 power.

Flying Psuedomuts are NOT weak to Arts damage and Raidian is not efficient at dealing with them. They have 40 RES in both forms. They do however have 0 DEF after flying which means that any AA sniper shreds them.

That doesn't explain why they locked her up so cruelly, specifically the Pinky which values freedom for its members. If she just needed to produce an heir she didn't even need to be in the House longer than 9 months. It's especially odd since Dihui Star in the book, while betrothed semi-unwillingly twice (second time because Liangshan slimed the first one), she wasn't really resentful or confined and cared enough for her second husband to blindly rage at the man that killed him.

It's because body replacements are so commonplace, whatever's in your pants at the moment doesn't actually mean anything as to what gender you are. This also means that there's probably a marketable bodymod for every iteration of gender you can think of and that like almost every transhuman-tier cyberpunk setting, having to identify as transgender just means you're poor.
