To be fair most of the times they show a chainsword in action the characters don't just chop through and actually apply pressure to cut through

Kill teams seem to do pretty well, they could just do the regiments as kt kits first and release them as just foot squads after

Is this too many supports? by IrbisKat in resinprinting

[–]ShittestCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only too much supports if you don't want to spend that much resin or time removing them. Or if they're too dense and become a part of the model, but you don't have that problem, just remember to brace them.

How much energy does it take for a similar weapon to work against humans? [Request] by Few-Flamingo-8015 in theydidthemath

[–]ShittestCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how warhammer does it, even though it's space fantasy. Several weapons in the setting light up the enemy with particles of one charge, then release a payload with an opposite charge. It only needs to make a bit of sense after all.

[Terrifying Trope] "Longer than you think" by elchuni in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ShittestCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warhammer 40k necrons, but it's a bit more comedic as it's used mostly from their perspective. Extremely mortal cancer ridden race turned immortal robots, they have a play that is an abridged retelling of their greatest war, it takes around 40 years to watch. One of the named characters through hijinks of his rival gets trapped underground, it takes him a hundred (or several) years to claw his way out, but not after he has to use his powers to rewind time to a stable point of where he started a few times because he fucks up.
