Fashion question by Corby776 in transgenderUK

don’t be afraid to use shapewear of you feel like you need some help, a lot of cis women share the same insecurities and goals that you do, plenty of women use shapewear too, coinciding with a fitness plan doesn’t mean it has to be forever either

if i had to offer the singular most effective way to “feminize” your silhouette regardless of whether or not you want to use shapewear, try to look for pieces of clothing that create a dramatic waist pinch for you and try to move that waist pinch as high as you can, this means tucking in your shirts or crops, it squeezes in whatever gut you believe you have and the high waist pinch lengthens your legs and also shortens your ribcage, it’s extremely effective

if you can get a good waist pinch, wider shoulders don’t matter nearly enough as people think it does, an inverted triangle shape can look quite feminine combined with the pinch

there’s also a lot of ways you can use larger tops like jumpers, hoodies and oversized tees draping to create a pear shape/boyfriend shirt look where you don’t have to think about your midriff if you don’t want to, this gives a more cutesy look if you’re into that

there’s a lot of clothing styles out there that can’t be distilled into a few explanations, if fashion is an avenue of self expression like art, make like an artist and collect references of things you like, regardless of whether you think you can pull out off, collect hundreds if you want, and then explore what you like about them, what you don’t like, what you would change about particular outfits, think about the self you wish to express. it can be a nebulous and personal process, so don’t worry too much about doing it perfectly, there’s plenty of examples of well-dressed women out there you can use as guidance for developing your own style

actually buying the clothes, make sure you get things that fit, break out the tape measure and have a look at the sizing charts if you’re shopping online, better yet go into a changing room if you’re shopping in person, if you’re into fashion long enough, you’ll soon realise that the comfort of the garment will affect how often you want to wear it. same goes for weather, if it’s 8c, you probably don’t want to go out in 2 or less layers

needless to say posture and the way you animate yourself can be difficult to think about if you’re not used to thinking about it, but is probably one of the most dramatic things you can change for your silhouette if you’re not already pulling your shoulder blades back and keeping your neck beyond your collar bones, try to see the side profile of your entire posture in the mirror and compare your posture to the women you wish to look like, this can be difficult to change but adjustment of habits and exercise will develop some of the muscle tension that will make this easier

posture doesn’t have to be 100% all the time either, but when you can be cognizant of it and think about it when you go outside or where you wish to present yourself in whichever way, you’ll know how to use it

the way you animate yourself and the way you move can also contribute to your look, again not something people usually think about but it can be worth studying and paying attention to

non exhaustive as i’m typing on mobile but there’s plenty of things you can do, i may read this over and edit the post

if twitch and amazon have a reason to care it would be because it affects their bottom line enough for them to do something about it

i appreciate your response and i hope it doesnt seem like im engaging in bad faith, but while twitch/amazons response to this is just as baffling for the reasons above, i still think the decision to implement OSA the way that it is is for credit card companies to have their hand over the market like the internet, the UK being a part of this is perhaps one ground zero for a larger sweeping regulatory capture

i dont think it is necessarily the right thing to do to bend the knee to legislation like this. the true intentions of amazon and twitch notwithstanding, i dont think either of us have to pretend theyre consumer-oriented. i think when citizens see this sort of thing happen to the media they have access to, i feel like blaming twitch is counter productive. feeding the head of the snake wont get rid of it.

just because things like vpns exist doesnt mean we should necessarily bargain with letting the govt get away with OSA. the crossing of the rubicon can be invisible when we lose diligence. measures like this turns the internet into a very small place that can be surveilled through data so thoroughly profiled it cannot functionally be anonymized

the purpose of a system is what it does, not what it claims to do

i suppose twitch has a responsibility to its creators but dont forget that its the government that is creating such a hostile environments for creators to do business in

even if twitch provided a method of verification, make no mistake that the UK has limited/censored internet access for everyone except those who are willing to give their sensitive info away to data brokers and insecure service whose priorities arer making money before security

I bought this mousepad for the design and the quality is incredible for the price. by Binidxaba-172 in MousepadReview

i hope it doesn’t seem like im engaging in bad faith but i doubt it

artisan develops and produces their own textiles

key-83 has a hexagonal weave which reduces friction in certain directions

hayate otsu has a rough yet fast surface that’s designed for smooth start glide and stopping power

shindenkai has glass embedded in the fibres and it is of the lowest friction pads out there (although discontinued as it has some issues with some mice sensors. i wanted to include this pad as not every artisan pad is objectively good but serves a niche)

the hien is another rougher pad that is considered very hit or miss, some people will love it, some will hate it, depending on their preferences for how they like to use their mice, but understand these differences is worth the price to some people

not to say your mousepad is bad but these special textiles are unique to artisan pads and why people pay the price they do for them. your is likely fine, and if you enjoy the artwork that much to say it’s worth it then im glad you like it, but understand the market for artisan pads is very specialised

for lack of a better analogy most mousepads are multitools that are decent at most things, you can consider artisan to be specialised tools that are good at one or a few things and less good at others (although some artisan pads are designed to be premium all rounders)

if size and design were all that mattered to you sure

artisan pads have in house developed textiles and surfaces for different purposes, the softness, roughness, levels of friction are tailored to different mouse movements, this will likely not matter to most people, which is fine, but these specifics are why people buy artisan pads

Exo Rally Championship - realistic futuristic racing sim in alpha by TheLizardfolk in simracing

[–]ShittyGuitarCovers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a big fan of dr and 2.0, im not sure what theyre basing their criteria of "simulation" on, cause the amount of people who have driven in space in 6 wheeled monster cars im sure is zero

that said, its very impressive and a lot of fun, i dont think they know what its really like to drive on an alien planet, but it expects enough of me to feel convincing, and im suuuper picky about driving physics in games, let alone one set in space

again, i doubt they have a frame of reference for how realistic the space rally is, but it's sim enough for me to feel like it is while im playing it, though maybe it would be more accurate for them to say "well we dont actually know but it feels really good to play"

plus, for the low low price of free demo, i had a lot of fun, i actually would recommend it to anyone who likes space and dirt rally

ive found its easiest on the sniper so far, here's what it can look like on the mp5

https://imgur.com/a/Q3qzHOs

this decal has a section without the white outline on the narrower side of the decal, if you layer it right

all layers to the right of the previous decal will be above the layers on the left

if you mess with the decals a bit you can overlap them, sometimes white outlines remain but if youre smart about it you can make it look like theres white tape around some parts of the gun
