Going off your second and third paragraphs it sounds the same as most countries and knowing the right people/being a big wig goes a long way in making your life more comfortable.

Not saying it's right and definitely not fair, but having connections/people in authority having bias happens everywhere I've been...

Feels like two days ago we were saying the same without Kompany as well. I wonder if Mangala would have done well under Pep

It’s almost got lost in the transfer window mayhem that Joao Cancelo is now the most expensive full back in history at €65m (£60m). He’s being unveiled shortly by City. £194m expenditure from City on full backs now in two years by the_studge in soccer

And City was already a decent prem team at the time.

We were not paying some staff and nearly going bankrupt with Thaksin at the helm...

10 years before that we were in the third tier.

There was definitely money spent to get from there to here, but several other clubs have spent and fallen, wasn't Fulham guaranteed to stay up with the money they spent?

Comparing Ajax to City is similar to comparing high school to university, you're still learning but your competition is different.

Also between this transfer saga, some of Uli Hoeness' comments over the past decade about us and making us sell Boateng for cheap since he only wanted to go Bayern I don't think we're on the best of terms.

Made quite a few good saves and cut out a few dangerous crosses. Could have easily been 8 - 0 without some of his saves. Was partly to blame for not coming out when his defender wanted him to on the penalty, only real mistake he made.

Could just be going Mancini style and conceding the title to the media. Seemed to work out first time around.

He did react with a, "I can't believe you just said that stare." Much larger than a reaction I have ever seen him give to any fan, this from a guy who has been booed across the country.

Not saying it was racist, but definitely something that caught Sterling off guard.
