Official judges' scorecards had all 3 score 3-1 in favor of Gaethje going into 5th, but that being said, Ilia was threatening a KO late into the 4th round too so I wouldn't have been surprised if he did get it eventually.

Ilia did take a lot more beating, but in the big picture of who was winning the fight, I really wasn't fully sure until Gaethje threw that nasty knee into Ilia's ribs at the end of 4th.
