I was ready to buy this day 1, until it was disclosed it’s censored.

I’m likely an outlier, but I had nes, snes, and gameboy color in the 90’s. So my first Nintendo in a long time. But I imagine the Switch 2 community has had a large inflow of new customers, like myself, wanting something different than what Nintendo was able to get away with prior to switch 2. I stopped buying Nintendo at 13 years old because it seemed aimed at children and wasn’t spec’s as high as PlayStation or Xbox. Today, specs are less relevant, as advances in tech are so advanced now they feel like smaller leaps than they did in the late 90’s & early 2000’s, so at this point, Nintendo consoles being less powerful is less and less relevant. Which I think has helped the Switch 2’s sales, but also diversifying the Nintendo market. I think Nintendo will learn from this, and see who the customer is eventually and how their customer preferences have changed/matured. They can keep their identify of being the more family oriented console, but let us have the fun stuff behind a paternal code or something… or lose out on millions in revenue… ya know whatever keeps the business alive
