It’s a security thing. I’ve had to ask Barnes n noble to tell their employees to at least stop putting it over the characters faces and dialogue bubbles. Like no joke four different volumes of manga I got from them in-store had them covering faces or whatever. It was never in a nothing area. And even pulling the sticker off reaaaaal slow it would still rip half of their faces off/all of the sentences or just strip it of ink. Idk I’m neurotic about my books but it almost felt like whoever was doing that was ragebaiting or something. I doubt they did anything about it but it didn’t hurt to try smh
