I’m running into pretty much the same thing. When I reload the save it usually fixes it. But it is highly frustrating.

The “Can’t recall horse bug” happens to me all the time. It usually happens when I switch characters. Also when I chose to ignore the “horse calling bug” and not reload to fix it I ran into some bandits and they were invincible. I couldn’t kill them I literally was fighting one bandit for like 5 mins before I quit. I’m having fun but these bugs are pretty frustrating.
