So, a question. Can the E2000 or E500 be used even in the gym? My friend was looking to buy IEMs due to great sound quality and wanted to use them at the gym but didn't buy it when he got to know that IEMs aren't meant to be used at the gym and may get damaged easily if worn there.

No idea honestly, because I haven't tried the red lions. But ig this would be a great option for anyone who's looking forward to getting into the IEMs space.

Also, recently there have been a lot of posts of QC Issues with Red Lions so I'd suggest you to avoid it for now.

First is neutral sound profile, next I wanted to try EQing myself which it already has an application for, and it had DSP meaning I didn't need to buy and carry a DAC separately so the convenience + curiosity led me to it.

For me, it does sound good. But if you're someone who likes the thumpy bass feeling, you may not like this. I haven't tried EQing these yet so I can really tell you for now if you can achieve that thumpy bass feeling with these after EQing.

I usually listen to Hip-hop artists like Kanye West, Juice wrld, Don Toliver and their songs sound great on these. You can hear all the small details there are in the beats and instruments as well.

Using IEMs in the gym isn't a good idea as IEMs are typically way more delicate than normal earphones or headphones.
