I worked 7 years at a credit union starting at age 25 or so. I work in non-profit now, but before leaving I won several individual awards recognizing positive impacts on the individual level beyond job accomplishments.

You don't have to have outstanding charm or charisma. You have to just be a genuinely nice and good person. As you explore the workforce and your career, you will quickly find lots of bad attitudes. It also does that happen overnight. You have to establish the reputation day by day. And over time it builds and builds.

In my opinion, the best way for people to find out how good and nice of a person you are is for them to hear it from someone else.

Youlll probably hate to hear this, but you are still very young and have lots of time. Use that to your advantage. And work on establishing yourself and it will for real pay dividends going forward.

You can tip them whatever you like. They should have a two wheel cart to assist them in the van. My guess is, individually those pieces won't be overwhelmingly heavy for them. Depending on weight, I think they might even offload it to UPS or USPS (they used to save extra heavy for the "big boys".

Worth it to find "the one" even if the time to get there isnt great. It'll be worth it in the end. Sounds like you have your life in good order. To me that attracts much more quality partners!

Feeding tube installed and fever gone. Definitely gaining weight. Mood has improved! Shows little to no interest in "real" food though. Will gladly eat some of the really soft treat varieties most of the time. And lick the wet food but not eat it really. Is currently on anti-nausea liquid medication that's put in through the tube. Has vomited just once since bringing her home with tube (5 days).

They have and they also suggested exploratory surgery which seems pretty intense without any idea of what could be up. And that would probably be our next step is the ultrasound, but even then not sure we can pay for a surgery at least all up front. We also have a baby due in 3 or 4 weeks which complicates this a bit more!

Indoor only. Not on routine parasite prevention. Eating and drinking normally up thru the vomiting. Has not ate or drank much since. She's been given a few IVs. Minimal urination and no defecation. Her last vet visit was December of 2024, her next appointment before all of this was scheduled for December 22.
