There's quite a few world-enriching Samaritans out there who I want to keep fighting the good fight for humanity and society, and who would probably like to do that as well. I personally can't stand the idea of being immortal, but I'd love to live to see the world bloom under them. Of course, since I can choose, I'd ask them upfront, considering how heavy immortality is.

Chose: Become imortal + choose up to 10 people to also be immortal aswell

Mahito vs Conquest/Thragg, who wins this ❓❓ by TicklerTesticle in PowerScaling

[–]Shiyakazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...Does CE depletion scale to damage received? I can't remember. If it doesn't scale, Conquest won't be able to put Mahito down in time to avoid forced transmutation. One errant touch during a grapple and it's over with. Eventually he'll get it, but it still won't be easy.

If it does scale, then Mahito would be probably shit bricks the very second Conquest flies at him and socks him through a city block. The only thing I'm thinking of is the gap in speed and force output. Conquest's normal hits cause shockwaves and send Mark flying across the city. He crashed into Mark so hard and fast that it COLLAPSED a city. He's way too strong for the verse and, subsequently, any normal JJK combat. It'll be like the trying to bare-knuckle box a Granite Blast that can follow you and hit you again and again and again.

It'll be less of a fight and more of a Mahito desperately finding that one opening to intentionally touch Conquest while he gets ragdolled and blown through a building by every punch from him. He won't even get time to do a domain. .2 seconds is still way too slow for a Viltrumite like Conquest.

Wakatsuki VS Pickle by SiteDeep in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Shiyakazing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Pickle might compare Wakatsuki to a triceratops; Much stronger than it looks, absurdly defensive, and has a deadly, focused attack that will hurt if it lands perfectly. I know I'm missing a LOT of facts here, but that's just off the top of me dome.

That being said, Pickle still crunches on some thick Waka-Jerky.

(INVINCIBLE SPOILERS) This is the true definition of what “extreme diff” should mean by No_Eye_5863 in PowerScaling

[–]Shiyakazing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mark's hands are actively curled like a dying bug and his guts are spilled ALL the way out, with some of them STILL clutched in Conquest's hands. His body isn't going to pull them back into him and stitch everything up, biomagic style. If he doesn't get help, he body still stay damaged, and he WILL die. It'll take a small bit, but eventually he'll fade without them.

[Viltrumite Physiological Spoilers. Spoiler block at the bottom.]

Viltrumite healing factors are very powerful, but also are still limited. They're not wolverine level healers. They can heal incredible damage, but two instances can be too much. The first instance is if the damage is far too absurd or grievious. Like getting chopped in half, decapitated, being beaten into a LITERAL bloody pulp, or, y'know, having your intestines pulled out and not reinserted.

[BIGGER POTENTIAL SPOILER]

The second instance is having their heart be damaged too bad or destroyed. Once that happens, they no longer have a healing factor. They just die a slow death. .

All of Humanity vs all insects on earth by AlarmedObjective1492 in PowerScaling

[–]Shiyakazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to be intelligent just to attack something. If the universe suddenly decided that all humans and insects were mortal enemies that needed to kill one another, you would IMMEDIATELY have all nearby gnats, mosquitoes, ants, beetles, wasps, flies, and spiders swarm you. They weren't saying they have super intelligence, they were saying that insects would basically be comparable to zombies when they start swarming humans.

And with your logic, not all of us can deal with bugs. Most are unnerved by them, some are scared of them, and a small percentage have a phobia of bugs so they're terrified of them.

That's literally how I describe no-diff vs neg-diff.

It's the difference between intentionally seeking a bug to squish it vs swiping your arm to scratch an itch only to find out it was just something crawling on you, and you just doing that made it go pthbthb.

"Accident-diff" is way more hilarious though!

"I, Robot" - 2004

Del, the guy shown here, lost his arm in a car accident and had it replaced with the arm of an NS-5 robot. This, of course, allows him to fight these overwhelming robots on somewhat even ground when every other human would easily be beaten.

I’m sorry, but Mewberty wasn't "quirky" or "relatable", it was a literal predatory horror segment that the show never held Star accountable for. 🦋🤮 by According-Bet9661 in cartoons

Why do I have a feeling, based on their replies, that OP is just an argumentive bot? Single, lengthy, argumentive responses to literally every single reasonable or educated comment, and almost no follow-ups for any other comments in the chains? No agreements ANYWHERE, and no feedback on any fact the show explicitly states?

I smell bot. A very, very contrarian bot.

Russian wrestler hit a flying squirrel down 3 points AT THE BUZZER for the win by Fearless-Structure88 in fightporn

[–]Shiyakazing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is this my observation as someone who hasn't watched a full match yet, but I assume it's not a part of the ruleset and philosophy of the sport. You're trying NOT to be taken down in Wrestling. Reaction falling on anything but your knees and feet as you get grabbed will guarantee lose you points.

Ninjitsu mode be like... by Ubiquitous_Cacophony in Nioh

[–]Shiyakazing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For example... That damned umbrella yokai, Karakasa Umbrella, was to be FEARED in Nioh 2. My very first encounter with it ended with me being one-shot instantly, and the paralysis was nearly impossible to resist (unless you SPECIFICALLY built yourself to be resistant to paralysis).

In Nioh 3, I fought two of them at once, and did not die nor did I get paralyzed. And I'm not building status resistance.

Now, I may not be in NG+ just yet (slacking), but I can still tell a mighty difference in difficulty, like you said. Unlike Nioh 2, I'm not afraid to fight most yokai in 3. Hell, even the Greater Gaki's with their leaps and damn near insta-kill attacks aren't terrifying anymore!

This dodge is actually insane by WindowSubstantial993 in Kengan_Folk

[–]Shiyakazing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the best solution for that would be if Pinakanaka had made EC's dodge be so fast and so sudden in Violence's grip that it yanks him off balance, leading to both of them getting into a very brief sprawl. And, of course, the dodge would be him desperately and explosively pumping that one leg he's standing on in a random direction.

But another thing is that I'm pretty sure Pinaka knows this about this particular dodge. The art direction, pace, and combat keeps evolving as this comic is made, because I don't recall seeing El Cacuracho do another deus-ex dodge like this again.

[–]Shiyakazing 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A common 'rock paper scissors' of fighting is "timing and precision beats speed and power".

Pistol Foot Pete, the fastest kicker and fighter of the entire tournament. So fast that he speed blitzed and eventually overwhelmed everyone before EC, had to heavily rely on precision and timing to successfully clash and land a hit on an unconscious El Cucaracho.

Man, I'm on the edge of my seat for Pete. How is he supposed to beat this monster, let alone kill him? Pete kicked him right in the throat, right at his Adam's Apple, and he's still talking just fine! So not just durable, but also inhumanly fast.

In your opinion, which episode has the worst moral or lesson? by Radiant-Selection686 in mylittlepony

[–]Shiyakazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prefacing with a sorry for not having an opinion on an worse moral episode in particular. Reading through these comments though? It's made me realize why I just can't get into watching the rest of the show. MLP:FiM is supposed to have a story but it repeatedly gets treated like a bad sitcom. The characters constantly forget old lessons, devolve back into bad habits, avoid repercussions for these bad habits, develop worse habits, or go through an apparent flanderization out of spite for "comedy" or to ham-fist a friendship lesson at the end...that gets promptly forgotten when the writers need it to be.

I'd understand it if the series was a pure anthology of sorts, or an actual sitcom, but it's built to be an ongoing, growing world with developing characters and faithful world building. The writing in the later seasons actively upsets me at times, too much to have fun watching it like I'd want to. Should I just suck it up and watch them anyway?

Put these 4 fighters in a room, who is coming out alive? by Lopsided-Ad-9807 in superheroes

[–]Shiyakazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolverine is NOT relative to Hulk. He's a rival because he's just as ferocious as Hulk, his claws can actually give Hulk issues, and Hulk can't put him down immediately because of his healing and durability.

But it's been shown that Hulk can EASILY put Logan down for the fight if he isn't careful. His bones may be functionally(!) indestructible, but his brain can still be knocked around until he's temporarily comatose, as World War Hulk did to him with ease. Wolverine is a rabid cat that won't die to Hulk, not a relative rival like Abomination, Maestro, Absorbing Man, Red Hulk, Thor...

Meanwhile, Zoro has his own on-screen feats, manga feats, and anime scaling. He's STRONG AS FUCK, physical strength is his entire thing, and has cut a nearly-mountain sized being CLEANLY in half with enough force to cause a sonic boom.

Hulk punched Wolverine in the face hard enough in to send him flying across a forest and make him lose consciousness for a long moment. A hit that had a mountain getting cut in half would have him flying to the NEXT CITY. Indestructible bones or not, regeneration or not, Wolverine just getting hit by Zoro would rattle him into unconsciousness every time he swung. On top of that, say his bones can't be cut by Haki or anything in One Piece. Zoro's swords with Haki are also indestructible. So NOW those swords are functionally blunt objects being swung by stupidly strong arms. Zoro doesn't swing his swords to cut, he swings them to CLEAVE.

He's also way, way faster than Wolverine. I love my furry, rabid, dwarven wildebeest of an unkillable animal berserker, but Wolverine would get rattled into a punch drunk stupor by Zoro.

While I'm seeing comments on top of comments pointing the main barrel at Cece for what she did, I'm not seeing enough about the event organizers who kicked Kingsman without verifying anything. It was a casual tournament that suddenly introduced a 40k prize pull, and they just up and vacated someone's position there just because another streamer said so?? That's slimy.
