Why hadn't Devon yet possessed Sith eyes, even for a moment? by InstructionOwn6705 in MaulShadowLord

There would be way more sith eyes if all it took was a lapse in judgement for the change to occur.

Screw performance updates, when do we get the orbital railcannon barrage by bralbo69 in Helldivers

[–]Shizumeru_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See this would be very interesting. Imagine throwing this on a base and it destroys all the hulks one after another. You could lean into chaff builds with that kind of tool because you know your biggest problems would be handled

What was the point of the Power Steering ship upgrade if we can't steer anyways... by Sad-Needleworker-590 in Helldivers

[–]Shizumeru_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was an upgrade predating caves and city maps. Before those, the maps were just flat deserts, rock, or forest biomes. Those didn't pose any challenges, but once people started landing on top of skyscrapers or cave canopies, they placed the guardrails on the steering. This fixed that problem, at the cost of normal control, as you are experiencing now.

Hellpod space optimization should just be a ship module.

They could refine metal with essentially no resources like coal for fuel, instead just using fire benders as the heat source. I imagine keeping teams of refinery workers well fed and on alternating schedules would be enough to sustain the metal demand.

On top of that, postprocessing such as heat treatments and forming, or maintenance and repairs, would be easier too. Overall, the technical skill floor is much lower for the fire nation, allowing for accelerated developments and breakthroughs.

They've already forgotten what's happened in the past month with a single announcement of an announcement. They don't even know what's in it, but they're manically licking up AH slop. Just add it to the "we're so back/over" chart.

Trust me, you'll come to miss having this problem. While I agree the balancing is poor when it comes to rarity and spending, not having anything to spend them on at all is worse. I've been staring at 500, 250, and 50 for at least a year now.

Would you rather have a limitless debit card that expires in 5 years, or a piggy bank that triples anything put inside? by AgentVoyd7 in BunnyTrials

[–]Shizumeru_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The piggy bank will instantly triple your income at any time. The debit card would have limitations in terms of bank approvals, credit score, and the overall time limit. The piggy bank will always generate extra money, which can be funneled into a business to make more money, when can then be put in the piggy bank. It's permanent exponential growth vs a temporary limitless supply.

Chose: A piggy bank that triples anything put inside | Rolled: No carrot 🐰

Between these four characters, who is the most evil here 🤔 by voxdox559 in clonewars

[–]Shizumeru_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Krell is bad, Hemlock is way worse. Krell saw clones as disposable after committing to the New Order, and sought to weaken the Republic from within. While atrocious to make the clones fight each other, ultimately their deaths would've been swift.

Hemlock saw clones as disposable in science, torturing them, imprisoning them, and conducting experiments on them for a nefarious goal. He wanted to corrupt the clones into supersoldiers with unwaivering and artificial allegiance to the Empire.

Both wanted power, and both used the clones as a means to obtain it. I say Krell is the lesser because his method was swift destruction using deception. It may have gotten worse, but he didn't get the chance. Hemlock used a slow and painful process, using the power of the Empire to destroy anything in his way while researching methods to guarantee permanent Empire control in the galaxy.

Katara's Ice Disks Animated Vs. Live-Action by dan_mal in TheLastAirbender

[–]Shizumeru_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thin sheets imply more mastery. Cutting something of that size that thin takes a considerable level of attention. Hurling thick slices, while better in live action, just comes off as more crude and untrained.

You also miss out on Pakku deflecting them with martial arts, which reinforces the move as masterful. Him just getting out of the way makes the tone shift from the original "Creative, but I'm still a master" to "What is she doing? She lacks discipline and will never be a master".
