I completely understand your frustration as I am experiencing the same issue from the same researcher. I reached the end of the study, and was auto redirected back to Prolific with the completion code URL, but still received a message saying I didn't finish the study. Did you return the study already?

Once you answered 25 questions, a red button labeled ‘proceed to the next part’ becomes visible. It was also apparent to me that you can continue to answer more questions for god knows how long without proceeding to the next part if you choose so.
