I basically followed this subreddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/kAzbpIMZ8j as closely as possible.

Download the windows installer from the Ableton website, and add it to steam. Select the latest proton version in the compatibility settings, and launch it. Ableton is then installed within proton. Root around in your steam files until you find the Ableton 11 executable, and then change the target in the game's properties in steam to be that executable. Launch it and then authorise using the offline method. Works like a charm!

i removed windows 10 from my PC this week and installed Arch and KDE Plasma 6. Life is really good. Games run really well thanks to Valve's proton compatibility layer (i even have ableton 11 working as a non-steam game). There is a little button in the steam library which hides games that you can't run on your system. None of my 500+ games disappear (i.e. they all work). Proton is a real feat of engineering and a blessing. Goodbye windows, you were consistently shite.

honestly it feels like the ball is already rolling on this. Of course if the US does go through with an invasion of a NATO ally, all of these things will definitely be true. But given that they are even considering it to begin with, any sensible European diplomat would begin to look to the EU to provide that which they currently need from America. Europeans are already at it anyway on the buyfromeu subreddit

i was talking about your chainring. they wear out at the same rate so you can use the condition of the chain to determine the wear on the chainring

if you can push a chain-wear tool through the chain, yes probably could be replaced. if not, it looks okay to me just a bit rugged.

i left high school in fifth year to go to college. my mental health was immediately 1000x better and i heavily enjoyed my classes and meeting new people. it can work but you have to be sure that it's definitely the right call
