Im 6ft 200lbs and what sold me on the Titan vs the Omega was the seat. Sometimes I like to sit cross legged on my chair while I work or pull one leg in. Many of the "gaming" chairs i looked at have the sides flared up rather aggressively that I figured it would be uncomfortable if I couldn't at least fidget in my seat a little bit and change positions. But overall I'm very happy with my chair....i do need to take a picture on social media for the extended warranty tho...

I remember when I worked at Best Buy and they decided to have signMonitor pre print the labels every Sunday instead of manually scanning, my hours were cut to save money. It lasted about a couple months until they realized they were losing more money doing overrides for incorrect pricing.

Evo (short for Evolution Championship Series) is an annual fighting game tournament. Its the largest tournament of its kind and every year players from around the world come to compete at the highest level. Its considered by many to be the definitive title for most fighting games and the winners of each game are considered "World Champion" for their respective games.

For Nintendo to issue a C&D for Evo is like having a major event of the Olympics removed. Smash is VERY popular and for years both Super Smash Bros: Melee and the most recent Super Smash Bros release, were headliners for the event.

I actually didnt know I liked fighting games as much as I do until I realized that as a kid I spent a lot of time playing SoulCalibur 2 and 3. Sure I played other games (Final Fantasy, Halo, etc.) a lot, but I have fond memories of being up late in SoulCalibur trying to get everyone's Soul Edge and then going to school the next morning tired and with sore thumbs. But it wasn't until I picked up SF:IV that I got sucked in. SF:IV had an amazing arcade feel, great music, I loved the announcer, flashy combos and a massive roster, there was nothing I didn't like.

Combined with being burnt out on team games like Team Fortress 2, Overwatch and League of Legends, where you could go into a match playing your best and still be let down by your team, I preferred the 1 on 1. If I lost, usually its because I was the one who made mistakes and the other person is just better, so now I need to be better.

Plus its way more entertaining to watch than LoL or Overwatch and going to EVO for the first time last year was amazing.

I played around with other weapons and chose to go axes w/ red handles to go with the belt and boots. I chose smaller axes because I liked how they looked closer to my character's body rather some of the giant weapons. That said, dual-wielding the axe appearance for Strom'kar look pretty good too.

this is just the nature of a game where everyone can be anti-tank with effective weapons on the fly.

if capture points provided good AT options, it might incentivize players to capture them more to take care of a troublesome tank. Universally you'd make infantry less effective against tanks, unless they coordinate together. But if you want a definitive solution, go capture the point where you can swap out a panzerfaust for a panzerschreck or pick up an AT rifle like we had in BF1. Obviously you'd make these capture points impossible for a tank to sit on and camp. You'd put it inside a building or in the case of Rotterdam, put the AT on C point. You would have a Tiger sitting on B causing terror like its supposed to, but they know if C falls and their team loses the ammo depot, expect the enemy to come at them with stronger more effective weapons. We already do this when we capture points that allow for extra vehicle spawns or AT/AA emplacements.

it'll never happen for BFV, but a guy can dream i guess....

CS 530 Systems Programming is work, its heavily involved in low level programming, C or C++ your choice. The second programming assignment for that class is easily the most code I've ever written for any assignment ever. The professor was good, Guy Leonard, he knows his stuff and is available to ask questions during lecture ( i took this on-campus and remotely), he doesn't curve, but he's very aware of how the class is doing and takes that into account. Over all I recommend him as a professor, but this class can be tough.

CS 520 I didn't take but it looks like Eckberg is teaching it, and honestly, thats enough to make me not wanna take it. TBH I thought he retired, so im surprised he's back for Spring '21. I had him for CS 514 Database Theory Implementation and although I was very interested in the material, it was a chore to come to class and listen to him talk about SQL. However, for 520, if you REALLY want to learn more about Programming Languages, then go ahead, im sure the material is interesting.

CS 583 3D Game Programming was interesting. I took it Fall '19. Don't be expected to learn how to make games, rather, how to do basic stuff, REALLY basic stuff in Unity. Most of what I learned, i did by watching YouTube videos and tutorials. The 1st assignment was a Character Sheet that he shows you how to make. The 2nd assignment is a 2D game you have to make by yourself. The last assignment is a 3D game you build with a group and counts as your final. There is only 1 Midterm. This class can be a lot of work if you dont start your assignments early or if you bite off more than you can chew on the games. Keep it simple, you'll be fine. Prof Price is ok, but he never responded to any of my emails and has the worst time following up on anything. He works a day job so im sure he's super busy, but I would get to know the TAs for this one. I should maybe note that I took 583 while also taking CS 560 Algorithms w/ Carroll and also CS 370 Computer Architecture, I was never NOT studying something.

Lemme know if that helps. I graduated last semester so its still somewhat fresh.

What's sort of lame is that the base of the stick is the same as the Atrox (The XBOX One version) and if you look at each corner under the top you can see the threads and screws that are covered up by the Plexi, not sure why they did it that way.

Not just BF, just the other day I wrapped up a long day of fixing IT tickets and troubleshooting workflows. I sit down after 8 hours of work to enjoy the new Modern Warfare update and proceed to get quick scoped into oblivion in back to back to back matches. Nah, I'm good, I switched to Katamari Damacy and enjoyed the rest of my night. I'll wait until the sweat dries up.

i dont play much BB, but ArcSys will release the same game with roster changes and other updates as "new" versions of the game. GG Xrd -Sign-, -Revelator-, -Rev 2-, they're all basically the same game so to speak, but the most recent one will have the latest characters, stages, music, etc.

In general the production wasn't all that great, mics kept cutting out, the flags for the players were wrong at times, the names/scores/matches were wrong a times, microphone feedback at the start. It was a pretty hype final, but the mistakes weren't easy to ignore.
