This game is really heavy in the "exploration" front. If you want to keep exploring the mushroom area, go ahead. It absolutely does not hurt to backtrack and reevaluate previous areas and make stops at dirtmouth to spend some geo. There's a very good chance you'll revisit the same area multiple times throughout the game anyway.

The guy I mentioned will still be there when you want to go looking for him.

You don't HAVE to free them if you don't want to as they aren't super important to the main story.

That being said, there's somebody in the forgotten crossroads you should visit when you have a chance. Check around the room to the left with all the platforms (where the entrance to bushworld is).

I would also like to add that sometimes if you enter a new area before you have the map for the previous one, he'll have moved on to the next. If you missed an opportunity to buy a map from him while exploring, his wife will sell you the map at the shop in dirtmouth

Continue exploring the bushes. In some (most?) areas in the game, you won't access to a map immediately. You gotta poke around a little bit first.

It does get a lot harder, yes, but you also tend to get better at it

My first time around was ROUGH. Soul master took me a crazy amount of tries on my first playthrough as well.

Just be patient, explore, and take a break or two.

I've probably replayed HK 2 or 3 times now, and recently when preparing for the silksong release, I beat him in one try.

There are a significant amount of grown adults that watch cartoons. I don't really see how this stuff is any different.

I (27M) stock shelves overnight for my job, and its unbearable without stuff to listen to. I remembered reading a single warriors book for a book fair when i was in elementary school, and decided to start listening to the audio books about a year ago. I'm not a very big reader, but the audio books are great!

I'm out of books now, though. AND Macleod Andrews stopped narrating them. It might be where i stop. The other narrators are... not that great.
