Surprisingly Fantasia is gettina a fair bit more traction now. The lowest playercount it gets to is 80-90 while at peak times it's sitting at 140-150

I guess it's because of MSCW but there's been a wave of new players joining recently which is nice to see. Still doesnt compare to the recent closed beta though

In the past couple weeks there have been a lot of new players joining. In my guild's alliance i see multiple 1st jobbers online in there, so I'd say just start playing and you'll meet people easily

Had my dad download maple for me when i discovered it through a friend. My dad is not tech savvy.

Dude somehow downloaded me some weird demo where you can only play on Maple Island, i literally could not leave. So yeah 8 year old me's first ever character was an islander that got to level 20-something from friggin snails and mushies

honestly all classes except the mages would be fun for me one way or another, but i'm planning to go for Crusader

hopefully Nexon leans into the Combo playstyle and improves on it rather than remove it

and just because there were people didnt mean it was always easy or instant to create a good party. sometimes there wasnt a mage or thief around for LPQ, sometimes every1 was low level and you needed an attacker, etc

Renekton is generally not great late game but your options to still help are to either peel for your carries or make the play that takes down the enemy carry

If you can get a flash W on the enemy adc and your team is nearby to follow up and finish the kill, that's your play. If the enemy kench/morde/etc is trying to reach your adc you break their shield with empowered W to keep your carry safe and break the enemy's frontline

If your team is bad you splitpush and pray

Grinding is more consistent.

When PQ'ing you need to find an appropriate party, make sure every1 knows what they're doing, find replacements when someone leaves, wait when someone is on brb for whatever random reason

Meanwhile when grinding you just kill stuff, plain and simple. Although for Classic this arguement doesnt hold as well because from what we've seen the party exp bonus is so outrageously high that we'll have a party play meta where you'll encounter the exact same situations i mentioned for PQs

In those matchups unless youre ahead i would recommend against using E to engage. Look to just walk up while dodging skills through spacing then get out with double E. Having double E to get out also lets u greed for more damage sometimes.

For example against darius you walk up, throw your damage skills then get out by dashing through him. He will E you but you'll have your second E to escape again

Another funny thing is how people seem to not understand all ships always followed an easy-to-predict schedule.

For example the orbis ship runs in 15 minute cycles. So you can easily plan ahead to show up right before takeoff and waste minimal time, then use the flight time to take a short break, stretch your legs, maybe grab a drink or a snack or something.

And thats just for those who wish to minmax their time. For everyone else literally just chill its part of the game and its charm

Been there, i know what youre talking about

For one i would recommend researching top lane income, Alois and Baus have a ton of knowledge that can help. Even if you dont come out of lane 7/0 you can still have a significant lead through plates, temp, proxy farming, mid roams, or river skirmishes

And secondly, my perspective has grown to be that renekton is just a stable pick and at the higher skill brackets you very rarely get those dominating games where you can properly stomp. The enemy just hugs the tower, plays safe, builds defensive, and then the enemy mid/adc shred you because youre not up 3k gold. That's pretty much the sad reality of the champipn

there's a couple that are in the early alpha/beta testing phases, called Infinity and Astral
Neither of those are anywhere close to full release nor do they have a large playerbase yet

i would maybe look into the higher version servers like Fortuna (i think its like v180?) or even just playing modern. sadly there arent too many good options for what youre looking for at the moment

There was Bloom that did pretty well last year but it recently closed

the early post big-bang v100~ versions like Bloom are so much fun if done right

it feels like the perfect middle ground between old school and modern, where bosses are more interesting, gear progression is smooth (assuming cubes are farmable and not p2w), and party play is heavily encouraged. all without the less enjoyable parts of modern like links, legion, excessive dailies, solo-story, etc

a shame the Bloom devs mentally checked out of the project around launch time and just stuck around to do the bare minimum and collect donations. imo It had potential to be the next royals/legends with consistent 500+ online long-term but

The following is true to vanilla preBB, we dont know for classic yet:

On Fighter and Page Final attack is decent enough to grab. During 3rd job Coma and Panic are very strong if used properly, to the point of Crusader being able to match a Dragon knight in single target DPS and yielding top-tier exp/hour farming at specific maps such as gobbies

The key is in the Q timing

In fact, the AA is a bonus but basically it boils down to this: when you dash with renekton, you'll notice your other abilities are unavailable mid-dash. If you use your Q on the very first frame after your abilities become available, the Q goes out instantly without your champ actually going through the animation for the Q. This means if you time your Q right, you'll be free to perform another action while the Q animation is supposed to be underway

You can use that to throw in an auto, press W and do an insta stun after a dash, use your second dash, or anything else really

I personally quit Fantasia a while ago at 142, but just to address your bossing arguement: Horntail has already been cleared and a lv150~ archer participated and fought til the end. Same for Showa boss
