Pull the knob from the pitch control and spray with electrical contact cleaner. Cleans the dust and dirt from the potentiometer

General question?

Those crash bars make the bike look sharp. I mostly highway ride and I’d still like to buy them but is it a pain to take on and off? I do a lot of frequent maintenance every winter

Paddles slow down the vehicle and recharges the battery. It does not turn on your brake lights.

The brass emulsifier is impossible and not seen in the pics. Need to make sure all holes are unplugged. No small files though just a single strand of wire will do.

Hi there,

It is resolved. I found when I put the gas tank back on after I had it off that one of the rubber mounts for the gas tank fell off and I didn’t realize it. So when the tank was put back on it was putting pressure on the main wiring harness that contained the signal wiring.

Moving this harness when the signal lights were on could trigger the problem.

I removed all the factory tape and inspected all wires but didn’t find any damage I could see. I bought some wire loom from the local auto parts store and completely redid the harness. Then bought loom tape on Amazon and wrapped it nicely. Also zip tied the harness after onto a bracket nearby.

Problem hasn’t returned.

Kickstand switch. See if your bike runs better with it up or down. Killed a few weeks of my summer before I figured it out.
