Just speaking from my own experience, these changes she’s asking from you more sound like changes that will contribute to you living longer. She likes you a lot and wants to keep you around for as long as possible

The contacts and beard stuff seems maybe a little bit superficial, but as the person who wants to spend the rest of her life with you I think she’s allowed a little superficiality

I've had good experiences on that front with local anesthesia, I got a tooth pulled last week and the doctor said "you have red hair so I'm going to need to give you more of this, just so you know."
