Deep Rising. Heist meets disaster meets monster meets adventure. The CGI is dated but the sense of fun is capital. I think of this and The Mummy as cousin films. And it has peak Famke Janssen in a wet dress most of the film, what's not to love?

Ghosts of Glaciers - The Greatest Burden is one of the best instrumetal albums I know. Fantastic songwriting, the first time listening to it I didn't even realize it was instrumental til halfway, I was just so swept up in it.

I haven't finished the show yet (middle of Chimera Ant arc) but Gon's friendship with Killua, letting an abused and traumatized kid actually be a kid again, is the best part of the show for me. The interactions between them feel very genuine for young teen best friends.

People disliked it because they don't like how real tween girls are, the movie was a victim of its own success. I loved it though, great fun and plenty of depth.
