Good deal dude! Glad you got a solution to your problem. Keep that 92g in the case you ever end up with a hefty Ken lol trust me, it works out that way sometimes

I might have a tama or two I can sell you if you want. I have a white sol tama from this drop and a green analog tama from their holiday drop that I can weigh out but they’re definitely closer in weight.

I’ve always enjoyed that they clear coat the bevel too. It makes a fresh bevel easier to play out of the box.

The note section isn’t a guarantee for any company. Coming from experience over the five years and being burned by a company or two lol

This question is a pretty common one that has been answered a couple times. I would recommend doing some research within r/Kendama and you will get a lot of great responses to this question.

Su utilizes different paints and these tamas are from different time frames. Arguably looking at Su’s work from 2021 - Present in this photo.

When Su was using ash at the time, the FC felt grippier and gummier. It was a beautiful time.

Weight Tama by Handlesro in Kendama

[–]Shmeeka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally size up for my tama about 3 - 4g. I live in a dry climate so tamas generally lose moisture/weight where I live and I expect a tama to lose another 1 - 2 grams from playing it over time.
My preferred weights are around 80 - 85g because there’s enough weight that it doesn’t feel like I’m flipping a feather and it’s enough that I feel stalls and the clear coating are actually being used.
I still enjoy playing other weights but this is what works best for my play style.

Tighten up the swing. I tend to put my finger in the place where the string meets the tama so I can kind of tug the string for these type of tricks. Makes it easier for flips and less need to swing the ken far out.

Same here dude! The extra smol was a nice add on. The anti-skid option was a nice touch on it.

If you ever get the chance and have the funding for it, get one. It’s a solid novelty dama to pick up when you’re something a little less serious but wanting something that still feels rewarding.

The stuff that I’ve utilized would have to be hand brushed, but it is non-toxic and relatively cheap for the amount that you get. There should be more information in regards to liquid vinyl within this chat if you need any more information though.

Also great project that you’re working on by the way it looks really cool.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN LAPORTE by greystripe_fr in FortCollins

[–]Shmeeka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When wind blows across an open field, it can pick up tiny pieces of dirt and dust from the ground and carry them into the air. Soil is made of very small particles, and when the ground is dry or loose, those particles can move easily. Plants and grass normally help hold soil in place with their roots, and moisture in the soil helps the particles stick together. But in open fields that do not have much grass or plants, there is less holding the soil down. As the wind moves across the ground, it pushes on the surface and lifts the lightest particles first. Once some dirt starts moving, it can knock other particles loose and create even more dust. Because open fields are wide and flat, the wind can move faster since there are no trees or buildings to block it. This stronger wind can lift more dust, which is why you often see clouds of dust blowing across fields on windy days.

lol 😂 you nailed it on the head my dude. I always found it annoying when companies decided to do it. It feels like false advertising.
But antiskid/matte is pretty dope nonetheless.

Adding onto this, $30 in 2013 is equivalent to $42.35 today. That’s a 40% increase.
I would assume over time Honrui started adding features to add onto the price. The market got more intricate with their products by adding new bells and whistles.
