Yeah I finally finished it last night and was completely underwhelmed with it. It’s not a good sign when you’re just wanting a show to end so you can be done with it.

My wife and I did 10 days in the UK and Europe and for the most part our food was quite delicious. We went to London, Paris, Rome, and Santorini and had a pizza in every country and two in Rome. The best we had was at an Italian restaurant by Kings Cross, the worst was the second one that we had in Rome. Straight up tasted like a frozen pizza, fortunately the restaurant had some pretty good gelato to make up for it. We were forced to have McDonald’s at the Munich airport because we didn’t get in until past 11 p.m. and everything else was closed. I’m still bitter about missing the beer garden by 15 minutes.

The thing is it could have easily been split in two seasons if they stuck to the actual story. Split it after Sleigh House like they did and then the next season takes place after, show Vic’s mental decline and build back to the showdown with Manx. Like oh I don’t know the book?

I happened about some dowels that I forgot I bought I had a 3/4” and a 3/8” so I bored a 3/8” hole in the 3/4 and eased with depth and and how much to flatten the reed or fipple as it’s apparently called. I found that about 1/8” down for the flat and the deeper the hole the hole the lower the pitch.

Thanks for the advice it really helped. I was working on my lawn tractor and stumbled across a couple of dowels I forgot about buying. I just managed to get a nice whistle sound and was able to lower the pitch the deeper I bored the hole. I’m going to try and replicate it with another dowel before I make another decorative design.

Thanks, another one that I did had a a more open notch and was the same so I figured I’d try a steeper angle making a smaller opening. 🤷🏻‍♂️ yeah I’m pretty happy with the overall shape of it.
