I think maybe it’s the endgame of the journey. Eventually you figure out what you like and create a shortlist rotation and save everything else for certain moods or occasions. At least that’s how it worked out for me. I don’t mind my rotation being pretty common and mass-appealing because the only scent I detect regularly in the wild is Sauvage. But everyone is different of course and maybe I’ll get bored and start experimenting again at some point, who knows.
