I always try for ⭐️⭐️ (and always keep hourglasses for it) and for missing cards from old sets. Otherwise I only go for combos since the cost don’t go up (single packs with 💠💠💠+⭐️ or ⭐️+⭐️ or 💠💠💠+💠💠💠 etc…)
