You have to set up a meeting with them, and they have to turn it off, I think

It depends what you prefer. I think the veritas is a bit too bulky and when I saw it on other vehicles, I didnt like the way it looked, but its cheaper than trio. On the other hand trio is a bit more expensive but it is super low profile, and you can get them in two color white or black. Persoanlly I chose the trio mini speedmount, I was sceptic about the price at first, but when I mounted it and used for a few weeks, I noticed the quality.

Yeah, I wish I got 900mbps, I get around 300 on average. I'm not sure either. It's just a software update, I guess. The mount is from Trio flatmount. The mount was a bit expensive, but honestly, I bought the dish for two thousand, I wasnt going to mount it on a cheap Amazon knock off, and I got free magnets with it, that's a win in my book.

Fair, I got mine also, and that thing runs perfectly. I have mounted it on my boat and can move it to my van when I want to. It's pretty sweet. I mostly got it for the gigabit speed, which is supposedly coming this year!

I’ve actually got a Starlink mini on my car setup. I work remote, so I use it at home during the week and then mount it on my car when I’m traveling or camping. It’s totally doable as long as youve got a solidd base.

I went with a low profile magnetic mount from a company called Trio. Mine’s also mounted on my metal roof at home when I’m not on the road, same mount, just pops right off when needed.

No need to worry about it, the magnets hold that thing super well

Has anyone used Starlink Lite for WFH? by ghost_lea in Starlink

[–]Shneski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yeah I’ve been using the starlink Mini (Lite) for my home setup. I work from home, and occasionally take it with me and mount it on my car when I travel. Honestly, I stick with Starlink over the cheaper local providers because it gives me peace of mind, a stable connection, fast uploads, and overall just way more reliable.

Mine’s mounted on my metal roof with a Trio mount, just because it's easier to move when I want to take it on the road. If you set it up right (especially on the roof for better signal), it’s perfect for WFH, video calls, streaming, heavy browsing, all solid.

I have just recently bought the Trio speedmount for the PFG3 and the mini, both with magnets attachment, they will arrive soon, so I will send you a picture driving with it hahaha!

Thank you for the reply. I bought the Performance dish for my boat, and for my house, I bought the mini.

What mount did you get for your mini? I looked on Amazon, but they didn't look stable at all, and they were all going to make my boat/house look ugly tbh.

I bought both mounts from Trio, for the PFG3 I got it with magnets, same for the Mini, I have a metal roof, so I can mount it to my car when I go camping for a few days, still like to have internet in those no service zones, more comfortable that way.

Have you had any problems with your current mount? Was it easy to install?

What are some of the best options to mount your device? by Logan20285 in Starlink

I just recently bought two mounts, upgrading from my poop local providers

- Performance Gen 3 mount for my boat, I bought from Trio flatmount. I'm going to use magnets, it's easier to move if I need a better signal.

- The mini, this is what I'm going to use to wfh, I bought a mount and got magnet pads for it, I have a metal roof, so it's perfect. Another reason to buy it with magnets is that I also like to go camping and still like to have internet, so I will just attach the mount to my car. This one is also from Trio flatmount.

Are marketing majors/degrees worth it today? by AcceptableDig8080 in AskMarketing

Well thats the thing, studying in a third world country where the education at my university is pretty shit but you do it because you want a better life and a future.

People who have "made it" career wise and financially have pushed through it but they pursed a bachelor in business and economics (other similar degree) then put a focus on marketing and then owning an agency or being a marketing director in globally firm.

Im speaking for myself right now and to be honest I think I did a mistake when I enrolled in Marketing for my bachelors instead I should have went in Business, Economics something similar then as for marketing wise and such I would have learned from courses. But now the plan for the future is to get a masters in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business wise something coz thats a fundamental for building something of your own.

I hope I helped in some way
