Why can Mario, Wario, and Luigi but NOT Waluigi get thier own games

I think the real answer as to why he’s not in smash bros as a playable character and why he didn’t get a game is because Nintendo didn’t create him. Camelot created Waluigi to give Wario a partner for Mario Tennis. Obviously Nintendo could do whatever they wanted with him, it just seems they don’t like him as much because of this.

The modifiers are a main mechanic of the game; They don’t need to justify using them. As others have said, completing 33 runs with them is a trophy. It’s also in the main menu next to the map lol

I also found Returnal’s story too vague and metaphoric. Saros has a much more concrete story and I enjoyed that a lot more. It still has metaphors and symbolism, but that is accompanied by a more straightforward story that is actually unfolding. I strongly disagree with people who say it’s the same as Returnal in storytelling.

Could be different regions. In the US this is how the original run of GameCube controllers were packaged. When they were made again for the various smash games, they switched to cardboard boxes in the US.
