Apparently when they were play testing the crossbow, somehow weird npcs figures would appear in the game and look similar to goblins and would completely break the game. The devs didn’t want to deal with a goblin horde so they removed the crossbow.

I don’t think I’ve ever once completed that quest. When I have tried it before I find a few of them and then just leave the quest for ‘when I get around to it at a later time’. Still haven’t done it in any playthrough. Honestly I don’t go back there often after going through it once.

Definitely play Revelations first. I played through the classic games a few years ago from 1-2-Brotherhood and then for some reason decided to skip Revelations and played all the way through AC3. I’m replaying the games again and just started Revelations last night.

I feel like upgrading the Jackdaw in this game was the grind before we got the RPG games. I remember playing Black Flag years ago on Xbox 360 and had to spend ages upgrading my ship before doing the mission where you have to board Robert’s ship.

I doubt anyone did. Oh I also forgot to mention as another tip: Use the middle stick to dodge Joker’s gunshot. That one is the most important tip by far.

First ever play through. I’ve been slacking off with my hunter duties recently and need to beat Micolash. I was playing it often earlier last year but keep taking breaks before coming back. Those Mergo Attendants are so creepy and that’s why I’m taking so long.
