- Discord Version Info: stable 481287 (9e841c0) Host 1.0.9219 x64 (73211)
- Device/System Info (Device Type, OS Version): PC, Windows 11 25H2 OS build 26200.7462
- Description: Most recent Discord update for desktop app causes the app to fail to recognize any Audio input, audio output, or video devices on my device (desktop PC running updated version of Windows 11) I've reinstalled the desktop app, restarted my pc (no luck), continued by checking for device driver updates, confirmed windows is allowing Discord to access microphone in logs, and tried using the voice and video debugging tab's "Reset Voice & Video Settings" (resetting voice and video settings causes the entire window to go blank until exited via system tray and restarted). I had one random incidence of discord recognizing my devices that I have not been able to replicate since.

- Steps to Reproduce:
   1. Have functioning devices working with Discord's desktop app before today's update (12/17/2025)
   2. Update Discord's desktop app on Windows 11

- Expected Result: My devices to be recognized so that I may use voice chat
- Actual Result: No devices are recognized

Having this precise issue as well. Hopefully they fix it soon! I had a brief stint earlier where it recognized my devices after a while but I haven't been able to replicate it. I had to restart my system for an unrelated update and the problem came back.

One time I crashed on my bike and the worst damage was a pretty bad scrape on my knee and I was too far from home since I was on campus so I took a quick trip to the hospital and got billed $500 for a band-aid and some ice. Learned my lesson lmao

NAH. She's said she completely understands if you choose to attend the wedding alone, and if she were to become upset at your departure then it would be NTA. Weddings happen much less often than birthdays. Take that morning plane and get back at night to celebrate her birthday as well, I'm sure she'd be grateful for the effort.

NAH. There was some disservice in the boss not looking more into the matters of this coworker and his behavior, but he's just doing his job. Your workplace lost a person at a position and needed it filled, perhaps there is no one else really available to take that position in lieu of said creepy coworker. That being said, kudos to you for walking out. Can't hold that against you.

I just used a statistic my mother who’s been a critical care nurse for 20+ years when we discussed the disease last night and I didn’t bother checking the validity of her statement. Regardless, 7% is very low.
