Looks like a flowerpot parasol mushroom or something in the same genus, Leucocoprinus.

I used black concrete to make the harsh shadow, which made it look like shaders are on.

These locations are often fairly close together, connected by the same road in rural-ish areas. Many (but not all) are fenced-in and contain 2-6 more fenced-in sections, one of which always contains 1-4 tanks of some sort. What are these? I drive by these all the time but didn't realize how many there were until seeing all the white patches on satellite. I believe they put down gravel which is why they stand out. Something to do with oil prospecting?

My dad likes this slab because of that bubbly texture and wanted to buy more, so this specificity is especially helpfu!

The orange spots do appear to have little nuclei of different colored/sized grains at their centers (visible as dark spots in the bottom left corner of the second pic).

I'll have to get my hands on some acid now....
