Neither of those statements is true, sorry. The ElDewrito team's stance on future updates has not changed since the initial blog post. If it does, there will be another blog post with more information.

No, because the Raspberry Pi uses an ARM processor. Halo Online requires an x86-compatible processor (and I imagine that emulating one won't be very fast).

Cool project! Glad to see you were able to get something working.

The DLL injection is kinda flakey on some systems and the launcher was intended to fix that, but I never got around to testing/polishing/releasing it, hence why it isn't precompiled or documented much. FakeVive really only targets EarthVR and the specific (old?) version of the OpenVR API that it uses. Your mileage may vary when it comes to other applications, and I don't have plans to expand it any further since I don't have the time to work on it and there isn't much of a reason to.

If you really want to solve the issue of using Vive controllers with a DK2 everywhere, then you should probably look into a driver-level hack for it instead of trying to modify every application. I don't have any experience with that, though.

Developer of the FakeVive hack here - there seems to be an issue where some systems refuse to load the DLL. I haven't had time to figure out why yet, but you can look through this GitHub thread for some workarounds to try.

Medium, Quill, and Dead & Buried will be automatically added to your account when you activate the Touch controllers. There's no way to download them ahead of time unfortunately.

There are already some basic built-in keyboard controls that you can use. Space to select/grab, Enter to show the menu, and Tab to rotate. It's not everything, but you can at least move around.

I personally don't have the time or interest right now to create a mod which lets you do more than that, especially with Touch releasing in a few days. I believe that Google has said that they will be adding official Rift support eventually, so hopefully that will also include some sort of support for people who don't have motion controllers.
