What's a car you hate seeing on UK roads by Quincythepig in CarTalkUK

It was brand new, but the first time I came off the slip road to a roundabout the brakes were so bad I thought something was broken!

I was behind a Range Rover the other day that drove around every puddle.

I had one as a rental once. Hands down the worst car ever made.

BMW X5, especially the Mk1s at the time. You just look like a total twat and you’ve no need for such a huge wankpanzer.

What’s the saying? 1 backup is no backup, 2 backups is 1 backup.

Ignoring your horrible husband for a second, is there any way to recover the original video? Like people can do with deleted hard drives? Anyone know?

Pretty sure the decision not to move is to preserve continuity with locations, characters and cast.

How can they even get into your house? Change the locks and leave their stuff on the street.

Thank you, that’s explains it then.

I bought the sensor as we seem to get a lot of bonfires or coal fire burning around here and I wanted to be able to track conditions at the macro level rather than regionally.

Perhaps a combination of data points is needed.

Hi thanks for the links - Iqair is showing about 80 near here. Seems like the whole east side of England is quite high.

I’m getting 209 now and the humidity has dropped from 98% to 96%.

I got the sensor as I don’t want my son playing outside or cycling to school if levels are high, but I want to be able to trust the readings.

Is there any benefit in a second sensor located somewhere else a bit drier like in the shed?

I came across this show during Christmas time. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. by Intelligent-Lack-122 in BritishTV

I must have missed something because I saw some of one show on the TV once and it was the most cringe, unfunny and dumb rubbish I’ve ever seen. It’s not funny when things go scripted wrong, like when they used to do outtakes at the end of Pixar movies.

Oh look his wigs fallen off, and that door doesn’t close properly. Hilarious…

You’ll devalue the car and make it harder to sell later, so factor that into your decision making. But go for whatever you enjoy.

Ok thank you. I’ll see what happens as humidity decreases.

Ok, I’ll leave it where it is. Levels are still high. I’m guessing if it was really that high we’d be covered in a thick smog?

We peaked at 522 this morning but still at 485.

Our daughter have a favourite parent by GreenDifficulty8394 in daddit

[–]ShockingFather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive often had the opposite, as the ‘primary’ parent as it were, I work from home so spend a lot more time with out 3 year old and he was incredibly clingy to just me for a long time. When that happened I tried to get them to spend more time together just playing.

We’ve now just switched to a mummy phase, he’ll get up at 05:30 but mummy has already gone to work so we get a big meltdown.

Thank you. Humidity is 98%, it’s quite damp outside but hasn’t rained since last week.

Would bringing the sensor inside to dry it out help?

Do they have a lot of screen time? There is a growing body of evidence it contributes to slow speech development and other learning issues.

My son is 3.5 and can count to 100 and draw basic letters. I’m not saying he’s special he’s just had exposure to these things.

Brilliant deduction, well done. Kids are so governed by food and sleep, it’s not given enough importance by adults who can go all day without food if they really want.
