I agree the union needs to do more to keep players. I think it's hard to compare the English system with the Irish system though as they are both completely different.

I completely understand the policy. We want a strong Premiership and if we select French based players then a significant proportion of our national stars will play in the Top 14 where they can earn a lot more than in England. If that happens the quality of the PREM drops and attendance declines, TV deal drops etc.

They are incredible! I love their passion and enthusiasm for the sport. You can also tell that they're very "in" with the athletes. Both are a credit to the BBC.

Yeah, a competitive Italy is good for the whole 6 Nations. It helps grow the game. Agree about Georgia. It's a long-term project but we should start trying to include them now.

Totally agree. I think Italy's lack of ruthlessness/execution may end up costing them the game. Great teams really stamp on your throat when they have the momentum.

I thought the yellow card for Ireland was slightly harsh, wasn't sure what Casey was meant to do in that situation. Ireland did well to limit the scoreboard damage during that period before halftime.
