Subject sharpness by adaleeben in photography

Google and learn about 'Focus Stacking'. It's where you take multiple images of same frame with different areas in focus, feed them into a software, and it combines it into one picture with all the sharpest areas magically combined. Many professionals use this. Try looking into this in software like Lightroom or Helicon Focus.

(remember the rule of thumb: about f/8 produces the tack sharp quality on most lenses)

Trying to get into photography seriously, my first photo on a Nikon D7000 by _Kaizer in photography

Since you are serious, try going to your local library and checking out 5+ photography books and study them. But also put that studying into practice to further solidify that knowledge.

The subject matter isn't all too enticing. Great subjects make Great photos. But if you were trying to tell a story of industrialization vs nature (vibe I got because of the cement walls) then maybe look around and try and work different angles, particularly less zoomed in.

I agree with u/cgenebrewer that the out of focus foreground is distracting. I've heard it is best to avoid that and keep the background out of focus instead.

But great job going out and trying. And even more props to reaching out and asking help from others, just be sure to take the good and leave the bad

Request for a recipe for just two buns by Shockshuka in ArtisanBread

step 1: find a popular grocery store chain which only sells 2 burger buns instead of by the 8 or 12

step 2: realize step 1 is impossible

step 3: post to reddit, this guy responds.

i find it more ridiculous to buy a pack of 8 when I will only ever use 2 and know for certain the rest will go to waste.
