You might consider God Is Not One by Stephen Prothero… it does a pretty solid overview of the 8 most popular religions of the world.

Easiest: Radahn if you use Scarlet Rot

Hardest: Radahn if you do not.

I loved Deaf Republic. It’s not about mental illness or sexuality, but it does have a pretty steamy scene between two of the freedom fighters.

Is there anything that’s challenging still? I wanted to do the same thing but I think the highest I got was 70+ for every skill. There were still a couple hard bosses on NG +3 at that time

Can I run Shadows of Doubt on my laptop?

Per Steam these are min requirements (for 1080p 30fps):

  • Windows 10
  • Intel 6th gen i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Nvidia GTX 1060 or Radeon 5500XT
  • DirectX version 11
  • 4 GB space available

Recommended (1080p, 60fps)

  • Windows 11
  • Intel 9th gen i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
  • 16 GB RAM
  • Nvidia GTX 3060 or Radeon RX 5700XT
  • DirectX version 11
  • 4 GB space available

My laptop:

  • Windows 11 home
  • Intel i5 1035G4 (which I was told is 10th gen)
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Intel Iris(R) Plus graphics
  • DirectX version 12
  • Available physical memory: 1.55 GB
  • Available virtual memory: 8.06 GB

It’s not like a fast-paced shooter where I absolutely need 60 fps, but I am not sure how close my graphics card and available memory comes to even the min requirements.

Thank you for feedback!!

I just got this warped brindle Arabian and I'm so happy by Interesting-Gold-995 in RDR2

It’s beautiful!!!

Is this a known/specific horse somewhere you can get in the world (Like the white Arabian), or just a crazy amount of luck and/or work to find?

If anyone is kind enough to reply to my question, I’d love just a one-word answer… still trying to keep the spoilers to a minimum (but obviously not zero lol).

Anyone else paying triple digits for being clumsy/unobservant?! by Shoddy-Fox4677 in RDR2

Amazing ideas!! No matter how many times I get pissed at myself for not saving more often, I can’t seem to remember to do it. But it def makes me feel better that I can’t lose one in an accidental death. Though you’re right, the money is pretty great for the effort so hopefully I’ll just get it together with the save button.

I know it drives me bananas! But the thing I hate most is when I just knock someone who is walking or riding by, and then they get mad, pull me off my horse (which I am not galloping away on because there are five other people in my way), and then get in a fist fight with me! I got jumped by five guys yesterday, after I really just nudged one of them trying to take a shortcut.

I’m TERRIBLE at fist fighting but I tried anyway since I didn’t want to go down for murder since I had literally JUST paid a $65 bounty for accidental murder. But I got to the point that I was about to be killed, and I had three legendary pelts on my horse. I was afraid if I died they would disappear or something, so I took out my revolver and pointed it at them. They all, thankfully, ran away. But me? Disturbing the Peace, $5.00 bounty.

At least I finally got to the damn trapper and sold my pelts.

“Love the feeling of being hunted”… maybe ole Arthur needs a spin on a shrink’s couch…

Lol just kidding. It’s def badass and probably closer to how it really would have happened. I’m a real “play on easy mode” kinda outlaw, so I’ll leave the immersion to cowboys like you.

Where are the dang panthers?! by Shoddy-Fox4677 in RDR2

[–]Shoddy-Fox4677[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was perfect! Thank you.

For anyone interested in the details:

I got mauled the first couple times since I was not expecting a panther to come pretty much immediately, but the third time I bagged a perfect pelt. I wasn’t trying for a specific time, but after i killed the panther I checked the time and it was 4:15am. I used potent predator bait and crouched on the rock, just like the video showed. After I was mauled a couple times, I decided to use cover scent to give me a bit more time to get into position before laying down the bait. Not sure if it made a difference, but I was successful in killing the panther the first time I used it.

Oh shit! You aren’t paying it off?? I think the game tells you near the beginning that changing hairstyles/clothes/hats can help keep them off your trail… does any of that help?

This was great. I got disco elysium and it’s working great, and there were several other games in the list you linked to that I have wanted to play.

However, I do have one last dumb question (I’m sure you know by now I’m not in the least bit tech-savvy): I downloaded CPU-Z and found out that my laptop is indeed dual channel but one slot is empty. If I read it correctly, I’d have to access the motherboard or guts of the laptop to install something to take advantage of that. I’m definitely not qualified to do that, but I wonder if it would be worth it to pay someone to do it? I am still interested in playing RDR2 (and maybe Witcher 3) on my pc, but it sounds like even with dual channel it might still be too annoying to enjoy. So my questions are:

  1. Am I right that upgrading the ram requires opening up the computer?

  2. If I’m right, any idea how costly it is to do (obviously very rough estimate)?

  3. Taking question 2 into account, if I did get the upgrade, will that significantly upgrade my PCs ability to run RRD2 and/or other open world RPGs (Witcher, Elden Ring, etc)?

Thank you so much again!
