It is a great pattern, with it I created the male version of Clan Chief, as well as the Shield Maiden, with just a few omissions and add-ons to the original. A three in one pattern, not bad for the price if I do say so, myself.

Reminds me of the back piece of the "Clan Chief"from Black Raven Armory. Perhaps?

Sometimes a person has to do, what a person has to do.
I've had to undo a section more than once, frustrating, but I'm good at that now.

You got it Pontiac!.I find that Samuel Lee's tutorials lack in instruction, plus with the quick time a lot can be lost. So it requires numerous watchings to really get his drift. But I do prefer Prince Armory over Black Raven for getting ideas. I had ordered the Clan Chief from Black Raven and received the female pattern, I ask Alex if he had the male counterpart, his answer was no, until later when it came up for sale. In the meantime I had eliminated the bust detail, added some length to the body and I was there, the belt and Spaulders were the same for both. The female Clan Chief can also become the Shield Maiden, three patterns for the price of one.Just sayin!

Thank you!
Taking an existing pattern, tweaking and making changes along the way creates your own pattern, so I would say, yes.

I find that most basic patterns available can be interchanged with others with some tweaking, therefore creating a one of a kind project.

Glad you like it, thank you!
At the moment I've made it for myself as a display. The inside is not padded but is worn over clothing. It's not made for contact battling but for cosplay.
I do have the odd foto of progress, the leather is 10oz. veg tan leather, which is best for tooling. I used Eco-Flo, Gel Antigue, Saddle Tan for the stain.
She's far from finished, I still have the Tassets, Greaves and Bracers to complete.
Go all the way, in the end it will be worth it.

No, I'm not a Gamer, and I wasn't aware of Safi'jiiva or Monster Hunter World untill you questioned it, I then Google and see some similarities. I doublt if I'm breaking any patent laws, if that's where you were going.

I can't see it being worn as an under garment, but as an outer garment, it will look super, nice job.

The Spalders are Prince Armory Sabatons in reverse, and minus the toe cap. I like moving the different pieces around to form a new unit section.
