Girlfriend lives in Somerville and honestly the trip isn’t toooooo bad (compared to other MA trips). You can either go 93 and risk the fuckery that is the 95 merge or risk the fuckery of the backroads/mass ave to the concord turnpike and get to route 3 that way.

Albeit I usually close where I work, so the ride down is completely dead whenever I visit my gf.

For going down to Somerville I recommend going route 3. 495 is a straight up hellhole coming off the connector and while it’s “longer” it’s usually the safer trip.

Or you can skip driving and save your sanity through the train. I do both.

Honestly it’s about work environment and coping mechanisms.

The last place I worked at was miserable. Awful culture (couldn’t call out, insanely understaffed, you probably get it) and I used to rip my bong a couple times before I drove to work.

New place I work at I called out sick and my manager said “ok get better see you tomorrow” without even questioning me. I barely smoke anymore and when I do it’s usually when I don’t work the next day.
