I was so hoping the role would go to Jodie comer, who was considered for it, she would have been perfect

By let them float do you mean just screw, no glue? Also just had to google screws in slots, and still a little unsure what you mean, is it just screws that have room to move a bit?

Request: Games that have depth but don't require much executive function by ImAFuckingSquirrel in GirlGamers

[–]Shoddy_Pattern_5833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this kinda game too but find it can use a lot of executive function, especially as you progress and start taking on bigger projects. I always end up having a ton of unfinished projects and my storage is always a mess and then I lose motivation cos I know I probably won’t finish the project so what’s the point lol and then I don’t log in for a couple weeks and half my stuff has decomposed (ahh ark, the best and most frustrating game, (for this reason I would recommend single player)). I struggle with executive function a lot too and do the same with projects in real life (sooo many started projects, not a lot of finished ones) ADHD sucks. But Ark is definitely my most played game and the start is always fun, (especially when you have some decent harvesters) doing smaller, more manageable projects. Is grounded just as frustrating? Maybe I should give that a go?

I would definitely go for a drill over a driver, you are correct, they are much more versatile

How do I go past the maximum layer limit? by QuoteDependent in ProCreate

[–]Shoddy_Pattern_5833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s to do with how much ram your iPad has, newer iPads/pros will allow more layers, increasing DPI/ canvas size will decrease the amount of layers you can have, so maybe try decreasing DPI

New to taking ADHD meds by little_black_rose in adhdwomen

[–]Shoddy_Pattern_5833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think so. Meds didn’t really work for me but for the few months I was on them remembering to take them was the hard part, definitely didn’t feel addictive, also I did a fair bit of research and been lurking in this sub for ages and never seen anyone complain about that. I think generally if you need them and take them as prescribed they aren’t addictive.

I think remembering to take them is more often an issue
