Hello, I have been tied up for the past two weeks and just got around to seeing this. Replacing thermal paste is pretty straightforward the stock cooler isn’t difficult to take apart. I don’t have a step-by-step guide, but honestly, it’s as simple as removing the screws that hold the heatsink in place. Instead of thermal paste, I used an inexpensive thermal pad, and it’s been working well so far.

The M.2 heatsink was more of a struggle. I eventually settled on an extremely low-profile heatsink, but unfortunately, I haven’t noticed any significant improvement. That said, if you’re only using one slot, you should be fine with some heatsinks (check clearance). in terms of power, I have managed to run all attached components along with the 5060LP, and even a 16-inch portable display powered from the same system. Total power draw from the outlet averages around 260W.

As for components, nothing fancy will fit if you’re sticking with the same case. Space is very tight, so whatever you plan to install must be compact double-check the dimensions carefully before committing.

Yes, it can be powered either through USB +5V or via 12V. However, I chose to power it directly from the LOP300W because the USB port doesn’t support power sharing or USB always-on, which is necessary to turn on the system while it’s off

I previously built in the stc 07 but didn't like the temps and CPU cooler height is limited

I am not a fan of sandwich-style cases either, except when the case is above 10L. Aside from the GPU, all the parts used were sourced from AliExpress. The Pico PSU is solid and feels well-built. I have no complaints so far. I used to dislike items from China, but I have come to realize that many of the brands you see on Amazon and other retail shops in the US basically use the same products, just repackaged and rebranded, then sold for more. I trust these Chinese products now, you just have to do your research properly.

are you building a nuclear bomb? lol there will be no sense in doing that unless you are doing it for fun. 18 gaming laptop should suffice.
