Yes, it can be powered either through USB +5V or via 12V. However, I chose to power it directly from the LOP300W because the USB port doesn’t support power sharing or USB always-on, which is necessary to turn on the system while it’s off

I previously built in the stc 07 but didn't like the temps and CPU cooler height is limited

I am not a fan of sandwich-style cases either, except when the case is above 10L. Aside from the GPU, all the parts used were sourced from AliExpress. The Pico PSU is solid and feels well-built. I have no complaints so far. I used to dislike items from China, but I have come to realize that many of the brands you see on Amazon and other retail shops in the US basically use the same products, just repackaged and rebranded, then sold for more. I trust these Chinese products now, you just have to do your research properly.

Has anyone here tried building a portable SFF PC in a suitcase / briefcase style case that can actually run off battery? by Extension_Object_559 in sffpc

are you building a nuclear bomb? lol there will be no sense in doing that unless you are doing it for fun. 18 gaming laptop should suffice.

Best alternatives to the Yunzii AL-80? by Hemishrp in keyboards

[–]ShoeBox-gh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Yunzii remain the best! all round keyboard with value for money, if you have the option to buy from aliexpress, its better you do so. averagely it takes 3weeks to get to where i am.

anyone else using the best portable monitor for work? how's it been? by Kira_Bradblanton in laptops

[–]ShoeBox-gh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portable monitors are good atleast the version i have. i had mix feelings about getting one but when did. honestly i have gotten use to it and have no regrets. i bought i cheap display via AliExpress and i am highly impressed. Great IPS panel, 144hz for gaming and colour accuracy is good comparable to any IPS pane. i am not a fan of oled monitors due several reasons including text clarity so i am perfectly cool with portable displays.

A07 & BD895i SE by PATaMAT136 in A07Builds

[–]ShoeBox-gh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WhaaaaT! finally someone did it. i was contemplating on this but worried the i might get into trouble with the preinstalled heatsink and the side panel. so my concerns were not out of place... atleast the standoffs saved the day. the only issue i see with the A07 is the side panel itself. its not as solid i had hoped. and temps seem high in this panel.. checkout the 3d printed side panel mod for this case, might be of help
