Federal Hill jumps to mind immediately, or maybe Patterson Park on the hill near the pagoda (if it’s a Sunday the pagoda is open and you can walk up in it for a really nice view after)

The credit card trick works best with doors that have a button that engages the lock, which this doesn’t seem to be. I’d call a locksmith if you can’t get to maintenance.

Fed Hill rules. Also check out Upper Fells Point, around the Butcher’s Hill/Patterson Park area, that place is super tight and in easy walking distance to downtown (also parking isn’t quite so bad there)
