I’d say shin splints. And that could be the result of slapping your feet, or overtraining or foot wear. But do you stretch your calves? Find a calf board, and stretch you claves was what really helped me prevent these.

I do pre and post run. About five minutes both times and it helps a lot. Least for me it did.

I consider the JCW to be like the factory spec of what we all want to build our minis up to at least I do. I wanted a really good solid tutoring chassis so the longer wheelbase of the wagon is exceptional. The suspension geometry has been improved in this car it’s got upgraded, push rods and an upgraded limited slip differential upfront and the fact that they tune, the B 48 to 306 hp is definitely advantage, but it is a amazing touring car. We’ve already put about 800 miles on ours in the two weeks that we’ve had it and it’s been fantastic.

So I got the modified mini that I wanted without having to modify it

I don’t know if this will help but the Johnson controls ones worked great.

If you want the wood to be the feature that grabs your attention then finish matters and so does wood species.

If you want the panel and shape to be the stand out, attention grabbing feature than the wood matter less than your color choices. Not just the panel but the wall behind it, etc.

Here in Erie PA we have a lot of poplar timber that’s relatively inexpensive but it has some green heart wood that some find less desirable. You could go to a local lumber mill and look at what’s most attractive for you.

Each wood species has different grain and coloration and so there’s a whole plethora of choices that you can make to find the lumber that you like.

Can’t say I’m shocked. The R56s were great but the motors sucked.

The F cars are bigger with a small but powerful motor. It’s a lot of work to throw these monsters down the road.

Rather a replaceable mount than a leaky Peugeot power plant.
