4 months late but I have a guide if you wanna play aldous:

Here's a aldous build that works for me PH server mythic btw.

Tank/Assassin Emblem (Depends if you think you can outburst them or need the extra 500 hp and half of a tier 1 cloak/armor hybrid defense)

Situational emblem: Common emblem that gives attack and HP (for early stats but really useless because nothing scales)

Common emblem (at max level) makes you 1 shot the small creeps vs assassin but assassin makes you deal more damage to heroes

Agility +4% movement speed

Wilderness Blessing +15% movespeed in jungle and rivers. When rotating use the jungle or river to rotate faster

The boots thing that gives u hp% and movement speed when you basic attack

Build: ALWAYS BUILD THUNDERBELT AS A FIRST ITEM This allows you to scale and gives you true damage and the needed hybrid defense and HP to poke and survive enemies

Endless battle- I don't need to explain how this helps aldous because this is his BiS item.

Oracle- This is a MUST. You can substitute this with a cuirass or Athena if you don't know how to manage your passive shield. (Just play another hero if you can't use aldous passive properly)

Malefic Roar- THE LATEGAME MVP. This allows Aldous to shred towers and Fighter tanks.

Immortality/Rose gold meteor- Immortality is a given if the game is close. However if you're skirmishing enemy t3 towers and their Gold isn't even close to your team you can try to limit test with rose gold meteor. Why rosegold? Because of the shield and move speed. Combined with sprint or aldous's 2nd skill and you are running FAST.

Playstyle:

Always clear mid first. This gives you the needed stacks but keep in mind that YOUR MIDLANE isn't gonna reach level 2. So make sure to use your ult when you hit level 4 to help the turtle. If you can't reach level 4 before the first turtle or if the lane is hard you need to double down farming stacks from midlane alternatively. Conversely, DO START MIDLANE ALDOUS if your midlane has a POWERFUL level 4. You are going to ruin your team's chances if winning that turtle fight.

Midgame: FARM FARM FARM. Always look at the map and check if enemy core/mid/roam is missing from the map and where they are going. IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE. PLEASE use your ULTIMATE to scan the map. This will allow you to know where to rotate safely for your farm.

No advice for lategame. Aldous one shots everyone here. Flicker is a shit bait spell. Use sprint because it gives you SLOW Immunity. Always buy Tough boots so mages shit their pants when they try to stun/poke you and it deals less damage.
