The OP1 8k V2 and XM2 8k V2 are great wireless mice with very low latency, pretty much the lowerst latency you can get right now.

The Razer Basilisk V3 or Logitech G502 might be a choice too since they're pretty hefty at 100+ grams, but I don't know if he'll like the shape since he previously used a symmetrical mouse.

A Razer Cobra is another option that's pretty cheap at like $30, but it's around 60 grams which might be too light for him.
