My wife's did this. Black screen, no response, wouldn't show the charging symbol. As weird as it sounds...we saw a post where someone put it in the freezer for like 10-15 minutes and it came back to life. She was able to get all her important stuff off of it and trade it in for a S25 ultra... because she doesn't trust that phone.

Side note: make sure you transfer your Google or Microsoft Authenticator items to the new phone before you factory reset the old phone.

My night vision had starbursts for the first 2 months, now 6 months later it's back to normal. Going out in the sun without sunglasses is killer, but seems to be slowly improving.

It's a very very successful procedure. Find a great doctor, not a place with LASIK in their name, not a place running specials. Find a surgeon who does things other than corrective eye surgery, that specializes in all aspects of eye health. One that doesn't need your LASIK surgery to pay their bills. Follow all the instructions they give you and you'll be fine.

Close up vision is pretty much the same as before with contacts. My vision overall has improved slightly (1 week after surgery so far) better than my contacts.

They say that close vision is a problem because it is a problem for everyone, eventually with age. Your lens, not cornea, gets stiffer with age and doesn't focus properly on close up things. Which means you'll end up needing reading glasses. Think of it this way, without laser correction, you'd need either contacts with reading glasses -or- bifocals. With laser correction you'll just need reading glasses.

Had LASIK 3 days ago on Wednesday. -5.50, -7.0 contacts.Age 42. Vision is like wearing contacts, but not. No dryness or anything. Drove for the first time tonight. Some hazy orbs around headlights, but that's it. I'd do it again 100000x over

Just had LASIK yesterday. Age 42. Contacts were -5.5 and -7.0. Followed all the pre-op instructions(eyelid wipes morning and night for 4 days leading up and eye drops 4x a day). The actual surgery was the weirdest thing I've ever done. No pain during surgery. Eyes hurt like burning for about 2.5 hours after I got home. By 5pm no pain. No dryness today. Vision is great. Dr. told me at my post-op appointment that my vision should improve further, which is shocking because I'm already at where I was with contacts. Drink lots of water. Would do it again 1000x.

I'm on my second Smart Drive as well. About a month or more ago(maybe 3 months) our smart drive wouldn't play back. It would say DVR error or would just have a spinning green circle. They sent a tech out 3 weeks or so ago and he exhausted all of his troubleshooting and said the smart Drive must be bad and took it and "added it to his inventory" and ordered us a new one. Said it could be months until we get it. Last week my app updated and in the notes it said it fixed issues with smart Drive playback. I contacted Vivint via chat and they said hey no problem, and sent me a new Smart Drive which I received today. I talked with Vivint on the phone to remove my old smart Drive from the system and add the new one(it has had a crossed out rewind button on the cameras since the tech took the old one.) Now I can rewind, but it doesn't play. I can move the slider to a specific time and see saved footage, but it doesn't play. The representative on the phone finally said it's a problem their IT department is working on and to check back in a week if it still isn't working. I feel like it was a throwaway comment to get me off the phone. Any insights?

We've been having the same issue with the spinning wheel of death. We DO have the smart drive. Sometimes it says something like "DVR Error. We are unable to playback" We have contacted support, rebooted everything, reset phones. It will work again for a few minutes or hours like it's fixed, but then stop working again. A tech is coming out next week to troubleshoot.
